League of Legends – Invisible Honors Fix

Some users might experience a bug on the League of Legends client where the honor icons / badges after games are not showing up. The notifications button will most likely not work either. This guide will show you how to fix the invisible honors bug for League of Legends.

Enable low spec mode

Enabling low spec mode on the client will most likely fix the bug. It did for me at least. Open your LoL client and click on the settings button. Then head into general and find the box saying “enable low spec mode”. Activate it and play a game to check if the problem is fixed. You can disable low spec mode afterwards and honors should still be showing up.

You should now successfully be able to see honors again but if this still doesn’t fix your problem you should contact Riot and make them more aware of the issue at https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us.

Initiate a full repair

if the above didn’t work you can try and initiate a full client repair. This will check and repair all corrupted game files. However this solution has not been tested but it can’t hurt to try it. The repair tool should fix most local errors in your League of Legends client. It might take a couple of minutes to complete.

Temporary solution

If the first fix didn’t work we have a temporary solution until Riot fixes the bug completely. When a game is finished you can hover over the invisible honors to see the text that usually appears. This will describe which honors you have earned in the match. It’s a quite tedious process to do after every game but better than not seeing them at all.

That’s it for this guide on how to fix invisible honors in League of Legends. Enjoy!
