Dying Light 2 – Black Screen After Ending Fix

Some players will experience getting stuck on a black screen after the ending in Dying Light 2. Cutscenes will start playing to explain the choices you have made and the ending you have chosen. A black screen with white text will appear at some point to reflect on the choices you have made and the impact they have had on the city. The game will freeze thereafter for some players.

How to fix black screen after the game ending in Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 ending

After showing the effect of the players choices, the game will get stuck on a black screen for some players. Restarting the game will restart the cutscene but this will result in the screen turning black again. To fix this issue, all you have to do is wait for a while until the next cutscene starts. The time it takes to continue depends on how fast your PC is. If it’s taking too long for the game to start the next cutscene, you can restart and head into settings. From there you want to head into advanced video settings and turn all the settings down to the lowest option. This will cause it to load the last cutscenes much faster, but you will still have to wait. Be wary that it can take almost up to 10 minutes for the game to proceed.

Once all the cutscenes are done, the end credits will start playing and thereafter you will be sent back into the city so you can continue doing activities. After saving the game when you are back in the city, you will not have to worry about waiting for the Dying Light 2 ending black screen ever again.
