It’s always frustrating to run out of inventory space in any video game. This guide will teach you how to increase your inventory capacity in Bannerlord in a few quick steps.
This guide is a part of the complete Bannerlord guide covering most of frequently asked questions for the game.
Increasing inventory capacity
You can increase your inventory capacity in multiple ways. Recruiting a troop increases your inventory space by 20. However this is a very limited option as you can’t have many troops especially early on. Losing a battle will also take a huge toll to your inventory capacity in this case, which might force you to drop some of your items.
The best way to increase your inventory is by buying animals with the “Used for carrying goods” tag. This tag is placed on the Mule and Sumpter horse. They can be bought for around 50 denars each depending on where you buy them. Buying a carrying horse will increase your capacity by 100 each which is a lot compared to the small 20 from your troops. Just a few mules allows you to majorly increase your total inventory space, especially early on.
Normal horses also increase your inventory space by 20 which is good for the late-game when you need the horses to increase your campaign map movement speed. Horses can be bought in high quantities in towns around the realm.
